Since 1985, Louise has had a passion for creating public awareness of the importance of meeting the needs of students with learning challenges.  It was this passion that led her to found Opportunity Schools, an educational non-profit that enables private school students with learning challenges achieve academic success.  Louise’s personal mission statement is to “ignite potential” and she has incorporated that into her leadership role in Opportunity Schools as well as a variety of other venues in the non-profit world. 

 She currently serves on the board of The Winston School, a private college-preparatory school for students with learning challenges in Del Mar, CA.  She served 20 years as Women's Director at Grace Church in Cypress where her husband was senior pastor. 

 Formerly, Louise conducted employee training on nutritional education for General Nutrition Corporation (GNC) which was founded in 1935 by her father.  As a family member, she serves on the board of the Bonita Bay Group, the largest developer of master-planned communities in Southwest Florida.  Louise holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Ohio University.
