Unlocking the hidden potential of students with learning challenges.
Making the Opportunity Program available and affordable to any private school student who needs it.
Due to the success of the Opportunity Program at Grace Christian School in Cypress, California, key leaders developed a vision to help other private schools establish the Opportunity Program to serve more children and their families. In 2000, Opportunity incorporated and received its designation as a 501 (C) (3) non-profit, public benefit organization and is now called Opportunity Schools. Opportunity’s Board of Directors is comprised of entrepreneurs and educators who are dedicated to the vision and mission of Opportunity Schools. In July 2002, an Executive Director was hired to fulfill the vision by developing the Opportunity Schools Satellite Division that enables us to take what had been successful in one location to other private schools.
